Lucy David created the image and idea in an original watercolor painting. Cheryl Jacobsen’s calligraphy complement the image. The cards can be interpreted in so many ways. Originally I thought of the trees as people. All different kinds, colors, ethnicities, genders, and abilities just as one can hope all kinds of people in all kinds of mindsets and colors can stand together. They also literally represent trees keeping our environment together. One person has sent them as thank you cards to medical providers helping us all through the Covid crisis. I have carried the image as a sign to several different protest marches.
The cards are printed from the original watercolor and sold in boxed sets of 6 cards.
I also have the larger size (11″ x 17″) as another product. The sign is suitable for framing, backed and used for a protest sign, or just to have in a window.
