Handwoven Scarf

Rayon chenille scarves keep you warm in cold weather and are wonderfully soft. They are especially well suited for people who are sensitive to wool.

After I wind the warp, I stretch it out on my dye table and paint the colors directly onto the warp. This creates a slow gradation from one color to another.  

This scarf ranges from blues to turquoise to green to raspberry, with 5 thin black accent stripes.
