This piece was inspired during the Coronvirus lockdown, when I had time to take stock of so many pieces of my life and shop inventory. After many years of storing the piece of cherry that is the base this piece, it all came together this year to evoke flight, roughness, surprise. prayer stones included in small altar bowl. The solid one-piece base has a hidden drawer.Â
