Childhood Keepsake Example

The Childhood Keepsake is a small accordion book, handmade by
Lucy David.  The interior pages are printed with Cheryl Jacobsen’s
calligraphy of each grade, Kindergarten through 12th Grade and designed for
wallet-sized photos.  The covers are made with book cloth, Japanese
papers, artist made book cloth, artist decorated paste papers all in
various color families (black patterns, green patterns, blue patterns, red
patterns and 1 purple).  These make a great gift for many occasions – new
baby, holiday present, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, graduations or whatever
one wishes.  As they fill up, they become treasures.

The books, when closed, are 3″ wide by 4″ tall. 
When fully extended open they are approximately 28″ long, but no one usually
extends them out flat!  The Childhood Keepsakes are available for shipping

color:  basically, black background patterns,
red patterns, green patterns and blue patterns.
