How the Online Sale Works

Our annual show and sale will take place online, beginning at noon Thursday, December 3rd, ending at midnight on December 8, 2020. Customers will be able to shop items from all of our artists and purchase their items with one simple checkout process, much like our in-person event.

We are taking appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers, to help make sure everyone has a safe holiday season, while also providing some of the normal holiday cheer our event brings to the community.

To see all items available for purchase, you can visit our Shop and browse through the various collections. You can also view the items available for individual artists by selecting their name in the category listing, or by viewing their Artist Page on the main website.

All orders placed through the online store will be available for customers to pick up the following weekend, December 12 and 13th, from the Masonic Building in downtown Iowa City. When placing your order on the website, you will schedule the day you would like to pick up your order (Saturday Dec 12 or Sunday Dec 13) and select a time slot for that day (between 9am and 6pm).

Customers will receive an email with their order confirmation, which will include the date/time selected for picking up their order. We request that you print off this order confirmation, to help ensure accuracy when we are bringing your order out to you from inside the Masonic Building.

We will be running our distribution system based upon minimal-contact methods that have been utilized effectively by the Iowa City Farmer’s Market through this entire year with their online sales platform.

Our distribution center is at our traditional event location, the Masonic Building (312 E College St) in downtown Iowa City. This is a space that will provide plenty of room for our limited staff to work within, while maintaining appropriate distance. All of our staff wear masks throughout the time they are working, and maintain proper hygiene protocols.

When customers come to pick up their order, you can park in one of the two spaces in front of the entrance, or find parking at a nearby location. If parked in front of the entrance, customers are requested to stay inside their vehicles. If customers find nearby parking and walk to the Masonic Building, please remain outside. Our staff will get your order information and bring the order out to you.
